A River Market original for more than 100 years

Planters opened in 1924 and has called 513 Walnut home for nearly a century. The building dates back to 1880, and the wood floors, the seed drawers and that squeaky board by the front counter have been here the whole time.

In 2026, Anna and Brad Perrin became the new owners of Planters. They're keeping it the place you remember, so it can stay a part of Kansas City for the next 100 years too.
